Why do we need funds?

We receive no official funding and survive purely on the very kind donations of our members. The costs of running the group are ongoing and we are constantly looking for funds to cover the costs of:

• Newsletter Production and Distribution
• Correspondence
• Medical Conferences
• Marketing and Publicity
• Counselling
• PO Box operation
• Fun Days
• Charity Events
• Technology Support

However this is only half the story as more funds are needed to develop the group so that:

• Essential phone support can be provided
• Much needed research can be funded into the different birthmark types
• Public awareness of birthmarks can be raised through marketing and publicity campaigns

The aim of the group is to operate as a fully registered charity which is accessible to all and which is able to provide immediate and current information and support to anyone who needs it.
