My name is Annette and I live with my husband Gary and our three children, Karl born in 1989, James born in 1991 and Anna who was born in 2000 and diagnosed at Great Ormond Street Hospital with PHACE Syndrome. Part of the syndrome was extensive superficial and deep haemangiomas. Our lives turned into a roller coaster of emotions dealing with her medical needs as well as her facial differences. Luckily she was and still is given the best care at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Anna still has many hurdles to cross but she is a beautiful little girl from whom we have learnt so much. I contacted the BSG when Anna was a baby and attended a Fun Day each year and I now want to give back some of the support we received.
